Marion County Halloween Run 2018

October 27 @ 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Paddock Mall will be hosting Marion County’s first annual Halloween Run. This event will include a chip timed 5k and a 10k. This event will also feature food trucks, live music, a costume contest and more. The 10k will start at 4:30 p.m. and the 5k will start at 4:15 p.m. Package pick-up on Friday, October 26th from 10am to 7pm in Center Court.

This is a fun race for all ages and we encourage you to dress in costume as there will be a costume contest. First 250 challengers for the 5k will get a Monster Dash medal and the first 150 for the 10k challengers will also receive a Monster Dash medal and everyone will receive a custom t-shirt you won’t want to miss.

The Marion County Halloween Run is the 1st Super Race in the Big Hammock Race Series! Move one step closer to earning incredible bling and huge points by participating in our race! The Big Hammock Race Series is a 10 race series throughout North and Central Florida that allows runners/walkers of all levels to earn prizes and perks as they work to complete their fitness challenge. The year long series gives participants the ability to challenge themselves by acquiring points based on their race finish &/or simply complete each race at their own pace to achieve series prizes. The proceeds from the race will help benefit the Marion County Children’s Alliance. The Marion County Children’s Alliance mission is to improve the lives of Marion County children by providing resources which enable nonprofit organizations serving these children to operate more effectively and by providing safe, effective services of the highest quality.
